Phylum Platyhelminthes

Flatworms (Phylum Platyhelminthes) are the simplest of the bilaterally symmetrical animals, are paper thin, and have their tissues organized into real organs and organ systems. Among these systems are a central nervous system with a brain. Free-living marine flatworms are all in the Class Turbellaria. Most are carnivores.
