Fall 2009 Deadlines

You are expected to finish your self-paced biology course by the end of this semester. For the Bio 105 Environmental Biology, self-paced class, this means that you must complete one unit each week. To make sure you accomplish this, there are deadlines for taking exams and completing lab activities and assignments, as shown in the table below. Holidays and other important dates also are listed below.

Exam Deadlines: If you have not completed the required number of exams by the deadline, you will not be able to do labs, turn in assignments, or take exams for the units covered by the deadline. You will receive "0" points for any labs, assignments, and exams that you did not complete that were required for the deadline. You will not be able to make up the points that you miss when you miss a deadline.

It is YOUR responsibility to stay on track and take the required number of exams by the deadline dates. If you do not expect to complete the course, be sure to withdraw yourself by the withdrawal deadline; otherwise you may receive an "F" grade. If you are concerned about your progress, please talk to your instructor or to a staff member in the BLC as soon as possible.
