  • Today is the end of the 11th week of classes. To be on track towards meeting your fourth deadline (completing all the work for Units 10-12 by 2pm on Fri., Nov. 20), you should finish Unit 11 today.
  • Unit 10 has 2 written assignments. The assignments are online, on the class website. You can submit your answers through Blackboard or as a hardcopy. The directions are on the class website.
  • Remember, you do NOT have to finish these assignments before taking the tests for those units (but you do have to get all of the tests, labs, and assignments done before the 11/20 deadline at 2pm).
  • Wed., Nov. 11 is Veteran's Day—a school holiday. The BLC will be closed all day.

  • There have been intermittent problems accessing the U.S. Fish and Wildlife websites that are used in your Unit 5 Endangered Species lab activity. Please continue working on the other labs you need to get done and keep going back and trying to do the Endangered Species lab activity.
  • If the websites are not up and running again by Friday's deadline, I will allow you to take your Unit 5 test without completing the Endangered Species lab. You will be asked to complete it later in the semester, when the website is working again, so that you can get all of the lab points for Unit 5.

If you are working on this assignment, which is due at the 3rd deadline on 4/3, just skip the third case study and turn in the first 2 case studies.   • The first day of the Spring 09 semester is January 20. Please plan on stopping by the Biology Learning Center in ST 107 on Tuesday, January 20 or Wednesday, January 21 to do your orientation and to pick up a copy of your class syllabus. We are open from 9am until 8pm on those days.
